Brand

Ten logo directions, all drawn from what the site already uses: Fraunces italic for the type, and the gold, burgundy and near-black already defined in globals.css. No new typeface, no new colour.

Each one is shown large, then on the two grounds it has to survive — a light page and the dark one the app lives on — and finally shrunk to roughly app-icon size. On the pale ground the wordmarks switch to burgundy, because gold on cream cannot be read; the tile and the seal carry their own dark ground and stay as they are. The last panel is the honest one: a mark that stops working at that size cannot be the app icon, whatever it looks like at full size.

    Signature

The wordmark on its own, letterspaced open. Quietest option and the one that ages best — but it has no icon, so the app tile would still need a separate mark.

    Hairline rules

The same word held between two gold hairlines, with the category set small underneath. Reads like a title page. Good for the store listing header.

    Burgundy plate

Wordmark reversed out of a burgundy plate. The most product-like of the wordmarks — it survives on a photograph, which none of the bare ones do.

    Monogram tile

What is on the site right now — the F in a squircle. Works as an app icon at 16px, which is the hard part, but says nothing on its own in a header.

    Ring seal

The F inside a double hairline ring. More editorial, less app-store; scales down further than the tile because there is no corner radius to muddy.

    Waveform

A small symmetrical waveform ahead of the word — the only direction that says out loud that this is audio. Risk: every audio app has one.

    Two-tone

One word, two weights: the F heavy, the rest light. Gives an obvious monogram crop for the icon without drawing a separate mark.

    Stacked lockup

Tile above the word. The version for a splash screen and the app's own header — one asset that carries both the icon and the name.

    Horizontal lockup

Tile, word, and the line that explains the product. The one to hand to the stores and to put in the email footer.

    Swash

The italic F oversized with a burgundy stroke running under it, the name set small in caps. The most fashion-magazine of the ten and the least like an app.
